Recruiting staff in the construction industry has always been problematic. Due to the fast paced nature of the industry
and fluctuations in workload, traditional recruitment methods rarely yield any results. It’s commonplace within the
construction industry to need to recruit a specific trade at very short notice and for a short period of time, this kind
of erratic and unpredictable recruitment doesn’t lend itself to recruitment sites where the period of time between
posting a position and hiring a candidate can be upwards of two weeks. Whilst true of the construction industry, this scenario also applies to other industries such as –

There are many industries that rely heavily on short notice and short term recruitment and yet nothing exists to service
these requirements. The TimeSave Mobile app is focused on providing an effective solution for this problem, the unique approach aims to fill the gap in the recruitment market currently not serviced by anyone.
TimeSave offers a two ended solution by allowing both sub-contractors/freelance workers and main contractors/employers seek work or staff. Sub-contractors can create a profile on the app and in the event that they find themselves with a sudden vacancy due to one of many reasons, they can ‘activate’ their profile which sends a notification to anyone within their chosen geographical area that they are available for work now. Once activated, their profile remains visible for 24 hours from the point of activation at which point their profile reverts to being unavailable until such a point they need to activate their profile again.
Employers who find themselves with a short term vacancy at short notice can also create a profile and list their job. The app will send a notification to any sub-contractors within the area who have their profile activated and are therefore available for work. The app will only show jobs that are currently active (no more scrolling through positions that have already been filled) And the app will only show sub-contractors who are available for work (no more phoning several contractors to be told they have no availability for days/weeks) The TimeSave Mobile app aims to service all industries that rely on short term labour, offering a real time recruitment solution.
